Who We Are

We are a non - for - profit created to help hungry children.
Strutting 4 Starvation is a non - for - profit created to provide support for children who do not know where their next meal will come from. Through fashion shows sponsored by regional businesses, we promote local commerce and provide awareness of food accessibility disadvantages amongst youth.
Local business has played a vital role in our nation's history for multiple economic and sociological reasons. Without the local "mom and pop" shops we've come to know and love, our towns and cities could not be properly organized and kept alive by its government and citizens.
As a Non - Governmental Organization, we are willing to create alliances with any willing business participant in our local areas. For our pilot program, we are specifically searching for organizations located in the Winston - Salem, North Carolina metro area.

The five founders of the organization, Armonde, Maddie, Madalyn, Sam, and Adam are all dedicated leaders within their respective communities, and have created this non - for - profit to serve their common interest of combating child hunger.
The brainchild of Armonde Maurras, the group first began as a collection of loosely - grouped ideas. After hours of collaboration and exchanging of ideas, the group came up with the basis of Strutting 4 Starvation. With the  mission statement created, the group continued to brainstorm innovative solutions to the child hunger problem.
The creative intelligence of Maddie Short, artistic genius of Madalyn (currently working on the group logo), insightful outlook of Sam, and behind the scenes operations run by Adam allowed the team to continue making strong progress towards their ultimate dream of making the non - for - profit a real life success for thousands of suffering, young children.
